Delivery

The Delivery Process: We understand how busy most people are and that booking a day off to wait in for a delivery is less than ideal, further to this having to man handle a full sized bed can be difficult. For this reason we have our contemporary mattresses rolled and vacuum packed which means they can be delivered in one or two tall boxes. Please note due to the fact each mattress is made to order and made in the UK, there is a 4 week lead time from the date of order on most mattresses and toppers.
Once you have successfully placed your order our team will start to make your mattress. As we are proud to state all our mattresses are hand crafted in the UK. Rolling the mattresses is perfectly safe and does not harm the mattresses. They are rolled just before they are dispatched meaning your mattress has not been sat in a stock room. The reasons for rolling the mattresses are for ease of delivery and for you to get the mattress where you need it when it arrives.
Our Pocket sprung range are not however rolled. We don’t agree with rolling pocket sprung beds and so these will arrive full size in a two part protective box. Please be aware of this is your planning on having these in rooms with limited access or up tight stairwells. Please get in touch if you require assistance.
Delivery Charges: The delivery charge is included in the price of the mattress. Free delivery if you will. Unlike other companies we don’t boast about free delivery as somewhere in the cost you will always be paying for delivery. We are just upfront about it! There are some postcodes in remote areas that may incur an additional charge. Please get in touch if you believe your address falls into this category for price amendments.
Delivery Times:
Deliveries will be pre-arranged by phone with a time slot between 0800 – 20.00 Monday – Friday. You will also be called on the day of delivery. Please ensure you give us as many contact numbers as possible when placing your order. All items must be signed for due to the value of the goods.
Courier Deliveries:
We use a specialist local courier company and we expect them to deliver as efficiently as Ryan and I would do ourselves. It will always be a two man team who will deliver to your room of choice. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirements.
They will be in communication with you to arrange a date for delivery and on the day of delivery will advise you when they are an hour or so away. Please advise us if you experience any difficulty with our courier service.
Special Access Requirements: Please advise us at the point of order of any special requirements. For example, delivery to a loft conversion, flats or apartments without adequate lifts, limited stairwell access, narrow lanes to your property, inadequate parking for the delivery vans and so forth. If goods are returned back to us due to inadequate access we reserve the right to make a charge of £70 to cover the failed delivery.
Ooops: Bear in mind that no matter how well laid out the plans are – things can go wrong! Bad traffic conditions is usually the culprit and at times a pre designated delivery may have to be postponed. Although this is actually rare it is advisable you do not completely remove your current sleeping arrangements until you have received your order.
On the delivery day: We ask that you make some room for your mattresses once is has arrived. Whilst they are rolled the boxes are still quite big, so we advise you plan some space where to stand them as you get ready to unpack your mattress. We do advise that any delicates or furniture on the way to your room of choice is covered or temporarily removed to aid delivery.
It is also a good idea to get the rolled up mattress to the room of your choice before unpacking and unrolling it. Once it is unrolled it will start to expand with air and become more difficult to manoeuvre. View our unwrapping your mattress guide here.
Damage to your mattress: We kindly ask that you follow our step by step instructions when opening your mattress. This is to ensure you can open them with ease and without damaging the mattress especially cutting through the wrapper. After following the guidance if you mattress is visibly damaged once unwrapped please get in touch with us as soon as possible to let us know. We may request some photographs, if you are able to email them over if not don’t worry, to help us identify the damage. Any damage found due to our mistake will be rectified by either replacement or refund. We strive with our manufacture to ensure all mattresses reach you in perfect condition, we do acknowledge however that sometimes damage or faults may occur.
Removal of old mattresses: We don’t offer a mattress removal service, we advise that most councils offer a large item pick up. Please check your local councils website for further details.
DISCLAIMER: Delivery into your home and to a room of your choice is a free service upon request and therefore we [or our sub-contractors] cannot be held liable for any damage to your property in doing so. In actual fact we, and the delivery firm we use do take the utmost care and consideration but it is best to remove all pictures and antiques just in case.

Will the delivery team unpack a double pocket spring mattress and place on an existing divan? As it will be quite heavy?
Thanks.
